General Labor Hand - Drummonds, TN at ENSTRUCTURE LLC – Memphis, Tennessee

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the labor hand is responsible for safely performing all job aspects in connection with the setup and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual compliance inspections, and maintain required logs as appropriate.
• Report any and all compliance failures to supervisor.
• Perform daily walk around inspections to identify any potential risks and ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained.
• Ensure to follow Company/Terminal Policies and Procedures when accessing or working in the Terminal.
• Participate in emergency situations as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation required.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or overnight shifts required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to stand, walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk with alternate standing. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a dry, sometimes dusty warehouse environment . The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
