COOK at CGK RESTAURANTS INC – Southbridge, Massachusetts

Position Summary: Line Cooks should have a positive attitude and good communication skills. They need to be able to multitask, stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. They should be comfortable with the monotony of repetitive tasks and be able to perform well under pressure. MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE

Principal Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

• Using ovens, fryers, and gas stoves to cook food to recipes and standards
• Stocking and setting up: preparing stations with supplies and food items
• Cleaning: keeping the kitchen and cooking surfaces clean and sanitized, storing equipment at the end of shifts
• Working with others: communicating with servers to ensure orders are completed on time, and working with other team members
• Following procedures: ensuring food safety standards and hygiene are met, following recipes and standards
• Plating food, performing inventory checks, completing food storage logs
• Checking product quality during baking and boxing
• Be knowledgeable and follow food and job safety guidelines at all times
