About This Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our team in Carrollton, CAR. As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency medicine, urgent care, family medicine, pediatrics, surgery, critical care, and trauma. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients, as well as provide patient education and counseling. Your primary goal will be to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and achieve optimal health outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant
  • Valid state medical license
  • Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, family medicine, pediatrics, surgery, critical care, or trauma
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume medical setting
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
  • Perform minor surgical procedures and assist with major surgeries
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed
  • Provide patient education and counseling on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and treatment options

Skills:

As a Physician Assistant, you will use your expertise in emergency medicine, urgent care, family medicine, pediatrics, surgery, critical care, and trauma to provide high-quality medical care to patients. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have the ability to make quick and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations. Your knowledge of patient education and counseling will be essential in helping patients achieve optimal health outcomes.
