Data Scientist at ResolveSoft Inc – WASH DC, District of Columbia

ResolveSoft, Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in extracting insights and knowledge from data, driving data-driven decision-making, and developing innovative solutions to complex business problems. You will work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, analyze data, build predictive models, and communicate findings effectively.
Responsibilities:

• Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud storage.
• Develop and implement data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques to analyze data and build predictive models.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights in data to support business decision-making.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate data findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data science technologies and best practices.
• Automate data extraction and analysis processes using Python and SQL.
• Work with PowerBI, Qlik dashboards, and Databricks to analyze and visualize data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Must be U.S. Citizen.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Qlik.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with data storytelling and data visualization best practices.
