LOGISTICS COORDINATOR at ROTHCO – Ronkonkoma, New York

Rothco is seeking a motivated Logistics coordinator in our Ronkonkoma, NY Corporate Office. The primary purpose of the logistics coordinator is to review shipment materials before distributions, collaborating with the warehouse department to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups and monitoring shipment costs under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor.

Role and Responsibilities

• Process freight claims and billing in ERP system
• Promptly resolve shipment issues as they arise

• Ensures that Logistics meets legal, regulatory requirements and are following state, federal and international agencies that oversee these operations
• Filling out any paperwork, and/or providing documentation for each shipment
• Data entry administrative functions in established computer programs
• May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• High level of organization and follow up skills
• Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills are a must.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Education/ Experience

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
