Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

As a CT Technologist at Froedtert South, you'll combine advanced imaging expertise with compassionate patient care to provide high-quality diagnostic studies that help physicians make important treatment decisions.

You'll work with patients of all ages and backgrounds while collaborating with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the Imaging Services team.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine and specialized CT examinations according to established protocols.
• Explain procedures clearly and position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast according to department policies and procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to their needs.
• Operate CT and related equipment safely and recognize and report equipment malfunctions.
• Follow radiation safety standards and established quality-control procedures.
• Assist radiologists and physicians with special and image-guided procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and members of the healthcare team.
• Provide technical coverage and support department operations as required.

What We're Looking For:

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) registered in Radiography.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) – CT (preferred or required within 1 year of hire)
• Current Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.

Pay & Benefits:

$34.00–$52.00 per hour | Differentials available

(Pay is based on experience.)
