Join Zeeco, the global leader in combustion and environmental solutions Equipment providers, as a Field Service Vapor Specialist in our Vapor Control Group. Youll work on cutting-edge Vapor Recovery and Combustion systems that keep the environment cleaner and equipment running safely.

As a Field Service Specialist you'll be the trusted expert supporting Zeecos Vapor Recovery Systems and Combustors in your region. Youll deliver critical aftermarket service, including:
  • Preventative & Emergency Maintenance Provide on-call, after-hours support (24/7) to troubleshoot and resolve unplanned equipment shutdowns, both onsite and remotely.
  • System Commissionings, Retrofits, & Upgrades Help launch and improve new and existing vapor control and product loading equipment.
  • Tech-Driven Problem Solving Apply electrical, mechanical, and automation skills to diagnose and fix issues using PLCs, software tools, and instrumentation.
  • Customer Service & Reporting Document and identify efficiently all service tasks, recommend system improvements, and ensure high-quality communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Compliance & Safety Maintain and operate company-provided tools, assets, and vehicles, meet all safety requirements, and always put safety firstyours and others.
Qualifications:
  • Electrical skills equivalent to Journeyman level or a 2-year instrumentation engineering certificate
  • Work experience that shows work in instrumentation, electrical and controls repair and replacement for 4+ years in a similar field.
  • Strong grasp of mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, basic programming, and hardware troubleshooting
  • Strong working knowledge of VFD, recorders, HMIs and associated controls and proficiency with determining and isolating problems within the systems.
  • Ability to use Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook), tablets, and reporting tools
  • Clear, professional communication skills (both written and verbal)

Requirements:
  • Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma plus 2-year technical certificate, Journeyman electrical license, or 4+ years of field service experience
  • Military experience in Electrical or Mechatronics is a strong plus!

  • Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, climb ladders/stairs, stand for long periods of the day, and perform tasks in extreme weather and confined spaces while wearing PPE.

  • Mental & Emotional Readiness:
  • Youll need strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently under pressure, and the emotional intelligence to handle challenging or stressful customer situations.

  • Drivers License:
  • Valid and cleanthis role includes driving a company-provided vehicle to customer sites.
