Whether you're just starting your machining career, have experience operating CNC equipment, or are an experienced machinist skilled in complex setups and precision manufacturing, we want to hear from you.

Our machinists play a critical role in producing high-quality, precision components used in nuclear, defense, and other critical infrastructure applications. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship, prioritize safety and quality, and want to grow their skills as part of a collaborative team.

Positions, responsibilities, and compensation will be aligned with each candidate's demonstrated skills and experience.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, machining instructions, and technical specifications.
  • Load programs, perform tool changes, and monitor machining operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Perform machine setups, adjust tooling and offsets, and troubleshoot machining issues based on experience.
  • For advanced machinists, independently manage complex setups, optimize machining processes, and assist with technical problem-solving.

Quality, Inspection & Documentation

  • Use precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and height gauges, to verify dimensional accuracy.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure parts meet customer and quality requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production records, inspection documentation, and job travelers.
  • Identify and communicate nonconforming parts, equipment concerns, or process issues.
  • Follow established quality procedures and traceability requirements.

Safety, Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

  • Follow all safety procedures, including OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following 5S principles.
  • Collaborate with machinists, supervisors, quality personnel, and other team members to meet production goals.
  • Participate in training, skill development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Share knowledge, support teammates, and contribute to a culture of accountability and craftsmanship.
Who We're Looking For

We are considering candidates at all stages of their machining careers, including:

Entry-Level Machinists

  • Mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and an interest in learning CNC machining.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, machining, or technical training is helpful but not required.
  • Willingness to learn blueprint reading, precision measurement, machine operation, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions, accept coaching, and develop technical skills.

  • Strong experience in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, and complex part production.
  • Ability to independently perform machine setups, troubleshoot machining challenges, and optimize machining processes.
  • Advanced blueprint interpretation, dimensional inspection, and understanding of machining tolerances.
  • Experience with CNC programming, G-code, complex workholding, or GD&T is highly valued.
  • Ability to mentor less-experienced machinists and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; technical education or machining certifications are a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and established manufacturing processes.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
