Location: Atlanta, GA 30336

Pay Rate: $19.00 - 20.00 Hourly

Schedule: 12 Hour shift, Days will rotate. (Must be able to work some weekends)

1. Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
2. Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Overview:

The Contract Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 5-15 employees during their assigned shift. This role ensures employees are following all safety procedures, wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Job Duties:

1. Supervise and support 5-15 employees during the assigned shift.
2. Ensure all employees wear and properly use required PPE and follow safety/GMP policies.
3. Monitor shift coverage, attendance, and staffing needs to maintain adequate operational coverage.
4. Assign daily tasks and help balance workloads to meet production and warehouse goals.
5. Communicate expectations, address employee concerns, and provide guidance as needed.
6. Report safety incidents, staffing issues, and operational concerns to management.
7. Promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
8. Works with new team members to train on line and on auxiliary equipment.

Other Job Duties:

1. Perform quality checks on products
2. Assist with running the production line
3. Report any issues to the supervisor on duty
4. Follow all health and safety standards
5. Meet production targets
6. Pack products along the line
7. Move damaged products as needed
8. Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

1. 2-3 years of lead experience
2. Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
4. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
5. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
6. Must be able to work around production machinery.
7. Must follow all Plastipak safety, GMP, and PPE requirements.
8. Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team.
