Job Description:
PROGRAM ANALYST PRINCIPAL
GDIT is seeking a Program Analyst Principal to provide financial leadership and analytical expertise for the Worldwide Field Support (WFS) contract. This role supports a large global program with hundreds of funding customers and thousands of funding lines, requiring strong financial management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to guide complex program execution.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
• Serve as a financial advisor to program leadership, providing data-driven insights for strategic decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
• Monitor contract funding, expenditures, obligations, commitments, and labor utilization.
• Prepare monthly forecasts, financial assessments, risk analyses, and management reports.
• Review contract awards, modifications, CLINs, ACRNs, and funding actions for accuracy and compliance.
• Track and analyze funding, expenditures, and labor accruals across customers, locations, systems, and CLINs.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and resolve financial issues with corporate teams.
• Coordinate with operations, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations, policies, and government contracting requirements.
• Support contract setup and complex modifications.
• Lead or mentor junior analysts.
• Contribute to development of financial processes and best practices.
What you'll need to succeed:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (experience may substitute).
• 8+ years of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, or government contracting experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Experience with Oracle, OBIEE, enterprise financial systems, or ERP tools.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• US citizenship required.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis capabilities.
• Experience supporting large government contracts or complex operations.
• Knowledge of contract funding structures including CLINs and ACRNs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government contracts.
• Experience working within large-scale, geographically dispersed programs.
• Knowledge of government financial management processes and compliance requirements.
