Job Description
The Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations seeks a motivated and detail-oriented student assistant to support fundraising, donor relations, stewardship, events, and administrative operations. This role provides hands-on experience in event coordination, donor communications, and nonprofit development practices. Flexible scheduling is available around academic commitments; some evening or weekend availability may be required for event support.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist with planning, setup, registration, hospitality, and breakdown of donor, alumni, scholarship, and campus events.
- Prepare event materials including signage, name badges, and attendee packets.
- Support donor acknowledgment processes, thank-you correspondence, and stewardship projects.
- Assist with scholarship and donor engagement activities while maintaining strict confidentiality of constituent information.
- Perform data entry, filing, mailings, and document preparation in support of departmental operations.
- Assist with research on alumni, donors, and community partners.
- Help maintain and update constituent records in the department database.
- Represent the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations professionally in all interactions.
- Support special projects as assigned.

WORK HOURS
The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Employees are expected to work within the core hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings, and may be required to work overtime.
