Position Summary

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership, operational execution, and financial performance of an assigned market. This position provides strategic direction and oversight for Business Development, Real Estate, and Operations while driving revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and new build initiatives.

The GM serves as the primary market leader and is accountable for achieving established financial and operational objectives, developing high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Success in this role requires close partnership and coordination with all Lindmark Companies departments, including Accounting, Ink, Steel, Graphic Arts, Human Resources, Legal, and Corporate Leadership, to ensure seamless execution of company initiatives and market objectives.

In addition to leadership responsibilities, the GM maintains an active book of business and key customer relationships.

Essential Job Functions and Tasks- These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.

  • Lead all market activities in alignment with company goals, policies, and performance standards.
  • Maintain full P&L accountability, including revenue growth, expense management, EBITDA performance, and overall market profitability.
  • Develop and execute market strategies that drive revenue growth, customer retention, occupancy, and expansion opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to Business Development, Real Estate, and Operations teams to ensure execution of market objectives.
  • Ensure consistent utilization of company CRM systems to support pipeline management, forecasting, activity tracking, and data-driven decision making.
  • Oversee real estate activities including lease negotiations, renewals, acquisitions, and strategic site development while ensuring all agreements meet financial and operational objectives.
  • Identify and secure new build opportunities that support long-term growth initiatives.
  • Ensure operational excellence through proper maintenance of inventory, quality standards, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, landlords, community stakeholders, government agencies, and business partners.
  • Collaborate regularly with Accounting, Ink, Steel, Graphic Arts, Human Resources, Legal, and other corporate departments to ensure successful execution of market and company initiatives.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing employees while promoting professional growth and succession planning.
  • Establish performance expectations, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and hold team members accountable for results.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture that promotes employee engagement, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain an active book of business and support key customer and landlord relationships.
  • Represent Lindmark Companies within the local market and industry community to strengthen brand presence and strategic partnerships.
  • Travel throughout the assigned market and other company locations as business needs require.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

This work environment is an office-like setting with moderate noise.

Physical Demands

Physical Exertion: The incumbent may frequently be required to lift approximately 10 pounds and/or occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Speaking/Hearing: The incumbent must be able to give and receive information through speaking and listening.

Motor Coordination: The incumbent in this position is frequently required to: use their hands and reach with their hands and arms. The incumbent is periodically required to: sit. The incumbent is occasionally required to: stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch or bend.

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)

7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in OOH, media, real estate, or related industries.

Proven success managing P&L or driving EBITDA growth.

Experience in business development, sales leadership, or revenue generation.

Experience in real estate, leasing or property development.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial performance and drive profitable growth.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of sales management, business development, and customer relationship strategies.
  • Knowledge of real estate acquisition, lease negotiations, and asset management principles preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to effectively work across departments and organizational levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to accountability and continuous improvement.
