Sales Director, Prairies

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Director, Prairies based in Canada.

This role is a senior commercial leadership position responsible for driving regional revenue growth, shaping sales strategy, and strengthening market presence across the Prairie automotive ecosystem. You will lead the design and execution of high-impact sales strategies, leveraging market insights to expand share and accelerate business performance. The role requires a strong balance of strategic vision and hands-on leadership, including building and nurturing executive-level client relationships and guiding a high-performing sales team. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across product, marketing, and digital solutions teams to ensure alignment and maximize customer value. A key part of the role involves analyzing market trends and dealer performance data to inform decision-making and optimize regional outcomes. This is a high-visibility leadership role suited for a results-driven professional passionate about automotive innovation and commercial excellence.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets across the Prairie market.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering accountability, performance, and professional growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer networks and key customers to drive long-term business partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends, dealer performance, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with product, digital, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of customer solutions and initiatives.
  • Oversee the full sales lifecycle, including forecasting, pipeline management, CRM optimization, and deal execution.
  • Deliver regular performance reporting and strategic insights to senior leadership to support business planning.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools, platforms, and automotive solutions within the dealer ecosystem.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, including at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies within automotive, digital marketing, or related industries.
  • Strong experience managing and scaling high-performing sales teams in competitive markets.
  • Deep understanding of dealership networks, particularly within the Prairie region or broader Canadian automotive market.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial performance metrics.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and digital sales tools to drive performance and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments with strong ownership and accountability mindset.
