The Recruiter will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes while building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and delivering high-quality talent solutions. This role requires ownership of sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, hiring coordination, and recruitment operations across multiple professional and technical functions.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for contract, contract-to-hire, and consulting positions.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs, define hiring strategies, and establish recruiting priorities.
- Conduct intake meetings to clarify role requirements, candidate profiles, and recruitment timelines.
- Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and proactive outreach.
- Screen and assess candidates through phone and video interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural alignment.
- Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and support decision-making throughout the hiring process.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles.
- Present qualified candidates within expected service levels while ensuring a smooth hiring experience.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity updates within applicant tracking systems.
- Provide insights on recruiting metrics, market trends, and talent availability to leadership teams.
- Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
- Manage offer processes, candidate negotiations, and closing activities.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes to increase efficiency, responsiveness, and candidate engagement.
The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter with a strong background in full-cycle hiring, talent sourcing, and relationship management. They should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with technical and professional roles, and operating in a fast-paced environment.
- 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Proven experience recruiting professional, technical, engineering, technology, consulting, or utility industry talent.
- Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging passive candidates.
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Experience supporting both contract and permanent hiring processes.
- Familiarity with utility, energy, IT, technical, engineering, GIS, project management, or consulting recruitment is preferred.
- Knowledge of California employment practices is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
