Job Description

Behavior Consultant (BC – W-2 Employee)

Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)
Location: West & Southwest Philadelphia
Compensation: $29–$32/hour (W-2) | Based on licensure & experience

About the Role

Dunbar Wellness Group is seeking a Behavior Consultant (BC) to provide high-quality, trauma-informed behavioral health services to children and families within our IBHS program. This is a W-2 clinical position with an assigned caseload and responsibility for temporary coverage of unstaffed BC cases to ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop/monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

  • Provide parent/caregiver coaching across home, school, and community settings.

  • Train MTs, BHTs, and school personnel to ensure consistent implementation of interventions.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, school meetings, and clinical consultations.

  • Complete all required documentation (progress notes, FBAs, BIPs, treatment plans, 180-day updates) within established deadlines.

  • Enter all services, attendance, and missed sessions in Zoobook.

  • Attend weekly clinical supervision, required trainings, and staff meetings.

  • Support program operations through other clinical administrative duties as assigned.

  • Travel between home, school, community, and office locations as needed.

Caseload & Coverage Expectations
  • Maintain an active caseload assigned by IBHS leadership.

  • Provide temporary coverage for unstaffed BC cases as needed.

  • Follow all DWG workflows, compliance policies, and IBHS regulatory standards.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, ABA, Special Education, or related field.

  • Active PA clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or BCBA strongly preferred; license-eligible candidates considered.

  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs required.

  • Strong clinical writing and teamwork skills.

  • Reliable transportation required.

Compensation & Employment Details
  • $29–$32/hour (W-2) based on licensure, experience, and availability.

  • Biweekly payroll with taxes withheld.

  • Weekly supervision, clinical support, and ongoing training.
