About Current Clinic Management, LLC
Millions of people live with Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), a chronic condition that is often debilitating and under-treated. Access to timely, specialized care from electrophysiologists (EPs) remains a persistent challenge in many communities. Current Clinic is pioneering a new model to establish EP focused care to Three Crosses Regional Hospital and bring life-changing treatment closer to home.
As an EP Nurse Navigator at Current Clinic, you serve as the clinical anchor of our electrophysiology program, guiding patients through the full arc of their care from initial education through procedure day and beyond. Your coordination keeps every moving part aligned, so that patients arrive prepared, physicians have what they need, and outcomes data is captured with the accuracy that drives continued improvement.
You are someone who thrives at the intersection of direct patient care and operational precision. Detail-oriented by nature, you move confidently between the EP lab and the clinic, bringing the same focus and professionalism to a pre-procedure phone call as you do to coordination. You know how to hold a complex workflow together without losing sight of the individual patient at the center of it, and you take real pride in being the person the team can count on to see things through.
You are equally comfortable working independently and collaborating closely with physicians, clinic staff, and external care partners. At Current Clinic, your role is highly visible and deeply embedded in both the clinical and operational rhythms of the practice. You understand that excellent coordination is essential to great patient outcomes as clinical skill, and you bring both in equal measure. This role is an excellent fit for an experienced cardiac or procedural RN who is energized by variety and ready to take on a high-impact position within a growing specialty clinic.
What you will be doing
- Conduct pre-procedure patient calls and education sessions, walking patients through what to expect and giving them the confidence and information they need to arrive fully prepared.
- Complete pre- and post-operative order entry, ensuring all patient records are accurate and aligned with physician protocols well before each procedure takes place.
- Coordinate all aspects of Watchman procedures, serving as the central point of contact from referral through implant and acting as the primary resource for scheduling, preparation, and follow-through.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in the Watchman registry, supporting the clinic's commitment to quality reporting and the long-term outcomes tracking that informs our care model.
- Be onsite during EP procedure sessions to help triage and ensure patient flow.
- Serve as the nursing liaison between Current Clinic and TCRH, facilitating clear communication and smooth care transitions to ensure continuity across both facilities.
- Check in on EP lab inventory and coordinate ordering, maintaining accurate stock levels so the procedural team has the supplies and devices they need without disruption.
- Track Value Based Outcomes metrics for the EP program, compiling and maintaining the data that reflects the quality-of-care Current Clinic provides and informs future clinical decisions.
What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license is required; all candidates must hold a current, unrestricted RN license in New Mexico or be eligible for reciprocity.
- Experience in a cardiac, electrophysiology, or procedural nursing setting is strongly preferred; familiarity with EP workflows, device procedures, or structural heart programs is a significant plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows with accuracy, keeping patient records, inventory, registry data, and scheduling all moving forward at once.
- Clear, confident communication with patients, physicians, and external care partners, including the ability to translate clinical detail into plain language and build trust across every interaction.
- Comfort working across both the EP lab and the clinic environment, shifting fluidly between procedural and coordination responsibilities as the day requires.
- Familiarity with registry data entry, outcomes tracking, or quality reporting systems is preferred; a strong commitment to data accuracy and documentation detail is essential.
This is a full-time FTE with no weekend or call requirements.
