• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Build and enhance frontend applications using Angular while collaborating with product and design teams to deliver performant and user-friendly interfaces.
• Contribute to API architecture and ensure solutions are secure, consistent, maintainable, and scalable.
• Design database schemas, manage migrations, and optimize query performance across relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical decisions for new features and platform improvements.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while actively participating in code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the application stack.
• Implement security practices including authentication, authorization, input validation, rate limiting, and protection mechanisms.
• Ensure production reliability through effective process management, monitoring, health checks, structured logging, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers in an agile development environment.

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on experience building production applications.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience developing production applications with Express.js, including middleware, request lifecycle management, and error handling.
• Strong TypeScript skills with the ability to build maintainable and scalable applications.
• Hands-on experience developing Angular applications (version 12 or later).
• Solid understanding of REST API design principles and backend service development.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows, pull requests, and collaborative software development practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and take ownership of technical solutions.
• Experience with streaming APIs, authentication frameworks such as JWT/OAuth/SAML, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), Docker, caching strategies, or observability tools is a plus.
• Previous experience working in B2B SaaS, fintech, or other data-intensive technology environments is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
