We're seeking experienced Sonographers ready to step into a leadership role as Charge Sonographers for the Central Texas area. Clinics in need of a Charge Sonographer include Harker Heights, Downtown Austin, and College Station.

In this role, you’ll serve as a primary point of contact for the clinic, supporting day-to-day operations while representing BB Imaging with professionalism, collaboration, and integrity.

WHO YOU ARE:
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential with an OB/GYN specialty
  • 2+ years OB experience
  • 1+yr have maintained good standing with BB Imaging

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • All duties and responsibilities of a BB Imaging Sonographer
  • Team Member Training: Oversee the training and development of clinical team members, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Direct IT tickets for equipment maintenance and ensure that all imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning optimally.
  • Daily Quality Assurance: Conduct daily quality assurance checks in the clinic to ensure both client and team satisfaction with the services provided.
  • Back-Office Support: Provide support to the clinical team with administrative tasks and ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Lead Morning Huddle: Lead the morning huddle with sonographers and technical assistants to review the upcoming clinical schedule, highlight training or development initiatives, and address any concerns.
  • Manage Clinical Workflow: Strategically manage the clinical workflow, including staggering lunches, relieving team members as needed, and ensuring clinic efficiency and meeting daily operational needs.
  • Client and Staff Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for doctors, nurses, sonographers, and scheduling staff, representing BB Imaging in a positive and professional manner.
  • Clinic Morale: Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment by recognizing team achievements, encouraging open communication, addressing concerns professionally, and promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identify operational, clinical, and team concerns, take appropriate action to resolve issues whenever possible, and escalate unresolved matters to leadership with recommended solutions and supporting information.
  • Clinical Student Support: Mentor and support clinical students to ensure a valuable clinical learning experience. Assess student professionalism, initiative, and engagement, and recommend candidates for future employment opportunities with BB Imaging.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as the liaison between the Director of Regional Services, People & Culture, and the clinical team, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and initiatives.
