Dawson Construction, LLC is hiring for the following field positions for work in Juneau or Southeast Alaska.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

1. Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in construction work.
2. Ability to follow instructions and learn.
3. Attention to detail
4. Manual dexterity
5. Math skills; basic math is used everyday
6. Problem-solving skills
7. Knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
8. Ability to work independently, complete daily activities according to work schedule, and meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
9. Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs., walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
10. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, as well as understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
11. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
12. Ability to arrive on time to work every day
13. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
