Federal Customer Success Manager

Base Salary: $120,000 plus Commission

Location: Reston, VA

Company Overview:

Seerist is a risk intelligence company that helps security, intelligence, and operations teams identify emerging risks, understand their potential impact, and make decisions before disruption occurs. Launched in August 2022 through the combination of Geospark Analytics and Control Risks' CORE platform, Seerist pairs proprietary AI with the expertise of more than 200 Control Risks analysts.

Our next-generation platform brings together verified events, analyst-curated content, and AI tools such as AskAnna, which gives every user cited, traceable answers drawn from our analyst depth. More than 400 customers in over 50 countries rely on Seerist, from Fortune 100 and Global 2000 enterprises to more than 50 government agencies worldwide.

We are around 120 people across eight global offices, with headquarters in Reston, Virginia and London. Our mission is to deliver predictive intelligence through the integration of AI and human expertise, and our values include winning as a team, a bias for action, and empowering customer success.

The Opportunity:

Seerist is hiring a Customer Success Manager to support our federal government customers. This is an individual contributor role within the Government Americas Customer Success team, reporting to the Director of Customer Success, Government Americas.

You will manage a portfolio of federal accounts with a focus on adoption, renewals, retention, and making sure each customer gets maximum value from Seerist's intelligence and insight services. You will also lead onboarding and training for new federal customers and take ownership of the renewal process from proposal through completion.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across security, intelligence, risk, and mission functions, helping them interpret and apply Seerist intelligence to anticipate and respond to global events. Because this role supports federal customers, it requires a current US Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

— Manage a portfolio of federal government accounts, acting as the primary day-to-day point of contact for each customer

— Lead onboarding and training for new customers so teams can use Seerist effectively from day one

— Take full ownership of renewals, including proposal, negotiation, and completion, working with Contracts, Finance, and Sales on federal procurement requirements

— Achieve renewal and retention targets and ensure customers receive consistent value from Seerist's service

— Build strong relationships with end users and senior stakeholders, understanding their mission needs and explaining how Seerist insights support their objectives

— Track account health, identify risk early, and put mitigation plans in place with support from the Director of Customer Success

— Identify expansion opportunities and work with Sales to grow usage and scope within existing accounts

— Provide accurate renewal forecasts and account updates to the team lead

— Share customer feedback with Product, Analyst, and other internal teams to help refine and improve the customer experience

— This role is hybrid and requires three (3) days per week in the Reston office

Required Qualifications:

— A current US Top Secret security clearance (required)

— Experience in customer success or account management, ideally in a SaaS or intelligence-led subscription business

— Experience working directly with federal government customers, with an understanding of federal procurement, contracting, and budget cycles

— Experience owning renewals and retention targets

— The ability to work directly with key customers and senior stakeholders, understand their needs, and clearly explain how Seerist insights support their objectives

— The ability to understand customer goals, plans, challenges, timelines, and budgets

— Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills

— Comfort working in a fast-moving environment and collaborating across teams
