Senior Video Editor and Animator

This role is ideal for a highly creative video professional who blends advanced editing skills with strong motion design expertise to shape engaging, platform-native storytelling. You will lead the production of video and animation assets across organic social, paid media, and digital channels, ensuring consistent brand expression and high visual impact. Working in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment, you will transform creative briefs into compelling visual narratives that resonate across audiences and platforms. You will also play a key role in defining and evolving motion language and editing standards, helping scale content production across internal teams and external partners. This position requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong pulse on social media trends and emerging creative technologies. Your work will directly influence how the brand is perceived across digital touchpoints, making storytelling more dynamic, modern, and conversion-driven.

Accountabilities
  • Lead video editing and animation production, ensuring high-quality motion-driven content across multiple channels
  • Manage end-to-end editing workflows, from creative brief interpretation to final delivery under tight deadlines
  • Translate feedback into multiple creative executions and iterate quickly on concepts for optimization
  • Define, evolve, and document brand editing style and motion design guidelines for scalable use across teams
  • Collaborate closely with social media, content, and art direction teams to maintain cohesive visual storytelling
  • Oversee external editors and contractors, ensuring consistency in output and alignment with brand standards
  • Integrate new editing technologies, including AI-based tools, to improve efficiency and creative output
  • Support on-site content capture and filming when required for campaigns, events, or influencer collaborations
  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving production environment
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in video editing and animation, ideally in digital or brand-focused environments
  • Strong expertise in motion design and animation, with the ability to elevate static visuals into engaging narratives
  • Advanced proficiency in video editing tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Working knowledge of visual design tools such as Photoshop and Figma
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X (Twitter), and what performs best on each
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs, manage feedback effectively, and present multiple concept directions
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to handle competing priorities
  • Experience with color grading, sound/music sourcing, and voiceover integration
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders around creative ideas
  • Filming experience and familiarity with on-set production is a strong asset
