Pay Range: $125,012.48 - $162,516.22 per year

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

RWJBH is seeking a Nurse Manager in the Post Coronary Care Unit at the New Brunswick campus,

This is a day position 40 hours/week,

Please note the hours of this position are 7:00 am - 7:30 pm with an additional 8 hours of office time bi-weekly,

Responsibilities:

- Managing a team of nurses and support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance,

Providing guidance and support to improve nursing practice and morale,

- Ensuring that necessary resources, such as equipment, supplies, and staffing levels, are available to provide safe and effective patient care,

- Manage department budgets, ensure cost-effective care delivery, and optimize the use of resources within the organization,

- Monitoring patient outcomes and implementing quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of care,

Ensuring compliance with regulations and safety protocols,

- Creating and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality nursing care,

- Addressing concerns from patients, families, and staff, and resolving conflicts in a timely and professional manner,

- Encourage ongoing education and training for nursing staff to enhance skills and foster a culture of professional development,

- Contribute to long-term planning for the unit or facility, including the implementation of new technologies processes, or services to improve patient care and operational efficiency,

Qualifications:

- Current active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in New Jersey,

- American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS for Healthcare Providers required

-Advanced Cardiac Life support ACLS for healthcare providers required,

-Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN required,

-Masters Preferred,

-Nursing Certification Preferred,

- At least 3 to 4 years of experience working in a telemetry acute care setting preferred, with Charge Nurse responsibilities,

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members,
