Position Title: Security Dispatcher - Full Time 3rd Shift

Description: BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, keeping records, addressing problems, and dispatching appropriate team members while maintaining professional and precise communication, as well as exhibiting excellent judgement, teamwork, compassion, and the ability to process multiple assignments at the same time.

  • Security Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Supervisory Responsibilities: NO

Minimum Education: High School Diploma required.

License/Certification Required: State of Tennessee (Private Protective Services) Unarmed Security License within six months of hire. Valid Tennessee Driver's License.

Minimum Work Experience: Previous dispatch experience preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and/or utilize resources available for troubleshooting in different situations
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consider the quality of the work tasks required and how the quality of performance impacts the program, function or care this position must demonstrate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Light lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 10-20 lbs occasionally and frequent moving of objects of less than 10 lbs is required. Frequent sitting with some walking, standing, squatting, bending and reaching is required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
