Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager based in United States.
This role is responsible for owning and scaling the entire customer messaging ecosystem across email and SMS, ensuring every touchpoint across the lifecycle is timely, personalized, and performance-driven. You will take full ownership of a mature Braze environment and elevate it into a best-in-class lifecycle marketing engine spanning acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and win-back. The position combines deep technical platform ownership with strategic marketing execution, requiring both systems thinking and hands-on campaign management. You will architect segmentation, automation flows, and data-driven personalization strategies that directly influence customer experience and revenue outcomes. Working closely with Product, Data, Growth, and Customer Success teams, you will shape how customers experience the brand from first interaction through long-term retention. This is a high-impact role for a marketer who thrives at the intersection of data, automation, and lifecycle storytelling. The environment is fast-moving, highly collaborative, and focused on measurable performance and continuous optimization.
You will own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing system, ensuring all email and SMS communications across the customer journey are effectively designed, delivered, and optimized for engagement, retention, and revenue impact. This includes both strategic ownership of the platform architecture and hands-on execution of campaigns and automated flows.
- Own the Braze platform end-to-end, including Canvas architecture, segmentation design, event taxonomy, and data integration with CDPs such as Segment
- Build and optimize lifecycle automation flows using advanced logic, personalization, and dynamic content to drive timely and relevant messaging
- Manage all broadcast marketing campaigns including promotions, product education, launches, and re-engagement initiatives across email and SMS
- Design and execute onboarding, transactional, and operational messaging such as prescriptions, lab updates, and refill communications
- Develop segmentation and personalization strategies based on user behavior, lifecycle stage, and product usage patterns
- Own deliverability strategy including sender reputation, authentication protocols, IP warming, and inbox placement optimization
- Build reporting frameworks and dashboards to measure performance across engagement, conversion, and revenue attribution
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Growth, Customer Success, and Creative teams to align messaging with business and customer needs
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in lifecycle and CRM marketing with strong technical fluency in Braze or comparable platforms. You are both a strategic marketer and a hands-on operator, capable of building systems, writing logic, and optimizing performance at scale.
- 4–6+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing within a DTC or subscription-based environment
- Strong hands-on expertise with Braze, including Canvas flows, segmentation, Liquid personalization, and campaign architecture
- Experience integrating CDPs (preferably Segment) and managing event tracking schemas and real-time data flows
- Proven track record managing both marketing and transactional messaging programs at scale
- Strong understanding of email and SMS deliverability best practices, including authentication and sender reputation management
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks for campaign optimization
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Looker, GA, or similar platforms for lifecycle performance tracking
- Strong copywriting and messaging instincts across email and SMS channels
- Ability to work independently with high ownership and strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Bonus: experience in health, wellness, telehealth, or subscription commerce environments and familiarity with AI tools for marketing optimization
- Competitive base salary with equity participation
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
- Flexible remote work environment
- Paid time off and flexible vacation policies
- Access to wellness, health, and performance-focused programs
- Learning and development budget for continuous growth
- Opportunity to own a high-impact lifecycle marketing function end-to-end
- Exposure to advanced CRM systems, automation tooling, and data-driven marketing practices
