We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to assist in supporting and facilitating the day-to-day leadership, management, and administration of one of British Columbia’s best-kept secrets.
The ideal candidate for this year-round, hands-on position will possess:
- Minimum of five years’ management experience with demonstrated leadership and coaching skills in the resort and hospitality industry. Candidates with experience in Alpine area operations and/or BC Parks’ contract operations will be given preference
- A diploma, degree or equivalent experience in the areas of Tourism & Hospitality, Business, Marketing or related field is an asset
- Ability to cultivate strong and effective relationships with staff, local businesses and stakeholders
- Proven financial acumen in budget and capital management
- Engaging interpersonal and communication skills
- Business development and supportive mindset
- Oversee resort operations in the absence of the General Manager
- Valid and current documents to work in Canada
