Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for administrative and operational support for the department by assisting with HR processes, payroll support, performance management, employee relations and general HR administration. Ensures accurate recordkeeping, timely process of HR transactions and effective communication with the team, managers and employees.

Essential Job Duties

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for general Human Resources inquiries received through the HR email group and/or phone regarding HR policies and procedures, payroll, and benefits; escalates complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
  • Provides administrative support for compensation-related activities, including incentive plans, salary updates, market pricing research, reporting, and related documentation.
  • Supports performance management processes by assisting with review tracking, reporting, documentation, and employee and leader inquiries.
  • Tracks, monitors, and supports employee information requests, including timekeeping, paid time off, employment verifications, and unemployment compensation, ensuring timely resolution or escalation as appropriate.
  • Coordinates and supports the development of departmental presentations, communications, and related materials.
  • Coordinates meetings, calendars, communications, materials, attendance tracking, and logistics for HR events, employee engagement activities, recognition programs, surveys, and departmental projects.
  • Coordinates and manages NMLS registration activities, ensuring required information is accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Administers Regulatory University activities, including assigning courses, assisting employees, and maintaining accurate system information.
  • Coordinates Human Resources policy management activities, including maintaining policy documents, tracking updates and approvals, supporting communication of policy changes, and ensuring employee-facing resources remain accurate and current.
  • Provide administrative, operational, and process documentation support by managing Human Resources mail, correspondence, records scanning, verifications, forms, templates, and knowledge resources while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and employee service.
  • Participates in special projects and continuous improvement efforts related to HR operations, payroll, compensation, compliance, and employee service processes.

At times required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. This position requires regular use of a computer.

Requirements:

Education/Training: Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work accurately with detailed and sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with Human Management Capital System (HMCS)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Experience: At least 2 years of related experience in Human Resources is preferred; prior banking experience is helpful but not required

Travel Requirements: Travel within the Bank’s geographic footprint
