Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-focused Travel Agent for one of our clients in the travel and tourism industry. In this role, you will assist customers in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, vacation packages, transportation, and other travel-related services. The ideal candidate has strong communication and sales skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with travel arrangements including flights, hotels, vacation packages, transportation, excursions, and other tourism services.
- Identify customer needs and recommend personalized travel solutions based on preferences and budget.
- Prepare quotations, process reservations, and manage booking details accurately.
- Handle inbound and outbound communications with clients and prospective customers.
- Follow up on sales opportunities to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Manage the complete sales process from initial customer contact through reservation confirmation.
- Maintain knowledge of destinations, promotions, travel policies, and industry trends.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the travel planning and booking experience.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the travel industry, tourism, customer service, or sales preferred.
- Experience with airline reservations, hotel bookings, vacation packages, or travel-related services preferred.
- Knowledge of travel reservation systems and booking platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to provide personalized recommendations and meet sales objectives.
- Fluency in Spanish and Intermediate English proficiency.
Required Availability:
- Schedule: Monday through Saturday.
- Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Work location: On-site position in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Compensation:
- Salary: $14.00
- Sales incentive program available.
