Job Description
Brokerkit is a remote-first B2B SaaS company serving residential real estate brokerages. Our platform helps brokerages recruit, retain, and operate with better data, workflows, and automation.
We are building an AI-first product and engineering organization. Brokerkit's AI-assisted Brokerkit Development System (BDS) uses tools such as Codex, Claude Code, and OpenCode, together with reusable skills, scripts, and automated software-development workflows, to help our team move from an idea to tested, reviewable software quickly and safely.
This role is designed for a high-agency, analytically sharp, exceptionally detail-oriented person who learns quickly and follows through. A long resume or a prior Product Manager title is less important than judgment, curiosity, ownership, and the ability to produce accurate work.
About the RoleAs Associate Product Manager, you will support and increasingly own product work from discovery and requirements through prototype, delivery, quality assurance, release, and customer adoption. You will be coached on Brokerkit's established BDS workflows. Your job is to use the system well, apply judgment, catch important details, and help improve it through practical feedback—not build it from scratch.
You will work closely with company leadership, customers, and engineering resources. You will turn business and customer problems into clear requirements and acceptance criteria, build working mockups and prototypes with BDS commands, use SQL and—after coaching—PostHog to investigate product behavior, map customer feature usage, and validate outcomes, and ensure released features work well for customers.
You will grow into a product expert for the services and features assigned to you. That includes helping customers understand the functionality, answering implementation questions, gathering feedback, and improving documentation and training.
Responsibilities- Support the product lifecycle for assigned features and services, from discovery and prioritization through release, adoption, and iteration, taking increasing ownership as you learn the product and BDS.
- Interview stakeholders and customers, clarify the underlying problem, and translate findings into concise product requirements, workflows, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Build working mockups and prototypes using BDS commands and AI coding agents so ideas can be evaluated in the product experience before full implementation.
- Partner with engineering resources and AI agents to break initiatives into small, focused, reviewable increments.
- Use SQL to analyze product and customer data, investigate issues, define baselines, validate changes, and support product decisions.
- Use PostHog and other product analytics tools to map customer feature usage, measure adoption and engagement, identify friction and drop-off, and recommend improvements.
- Create and execute thorough QA plans covering core workflows, permissions, data integrity, integrations, regressions, and important edge cases.
- Review completed work against requirements and customer needs before release, then monitor results and coordinate follow-up improvements.
- Support customers for the features and services you own by answering product and implementation questions and helping them use the functionality successfully.
- Create and maintain product documentation, help content, release communications, training materials, and internal runbooks.
- Learn and work within the established BDS, then help improve it through practical feedback and incremental updates to prompts, skills, scripts, checklists, and workflows.
- Communicate priorities, decisions, risks, dependencies, and release status clearly, and follow through reliably on commitments across a remote team.
- Some practical experience working with a software product in product operations, business analysis, QA, customer implementation, or a comparable capacity. A prior Product Manager title and a specific number of years are not required.
- High agency and follow-through: you take ownership, identify what is missing, ask good questions, and keep work moving without waiting for detailed instructions.
- Sharp analytical judgment and exceptional attention to detail, including a willingness to investigate discrepancies, test edge cases, and independently verify AI-assisted work.
- Working SQL skills, including the ability to query relational data, use joins and aggregations, investigate discrepancies, and validate product behavior.
- Hands-on experience using at least one of Codex, Claude Code, or OpenCode for product, analysis, operational, or software-related work.
- Ability to turn a business or customer problem into clear requirements, workflows, acceptance criteria, and practical test cases.
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly, accept coaching, and independently check the output of AI tools.
- Customer empathy and the ability to explain product functionality clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
- Alignment with Brokerkit's core values: serve the customer above all else, do the right thing, stay hungry for achievement, be a coachable team player, and solve problems pragmatically.
- Experience using product analytics tools to understand feature usage, adoption, engagement, friction, or drop-off; hands-on PostHog experience is especially preferred.
- Experience taking end-to-end ownership of product features or services.
- Technical fluency with SaaS applications, APIs, webhooks, data integrations, or modern software-development concepts.
- Experience creating reusable AI-agent skills, prompts, scripts, runbooks, or automations for software development, marketing, sales, or other business processes.
- Experience working in an AI-assisted or highly automated software development lifecycle.
- B2B SaaS product experience.
- Experience with residential real estate data, MLS data, brokerage operations, recruiting, or retention workflows.
- Experience with sales or marketing automation.
- Experience with low-code or no-code automation tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.
- Working knowledge of Git, HTML/CSS, Ruby on Rails, React, Postgres, or related technologies.
- Experience creating customer help content, product training, webinars, or release communications.
- Work on real customer problems in an established SaaS product while helping define a modern AI-first product development model.
- Receive hands-on coaching in Brokerkit's established AI-assisted product and software-development workflows, then apply them in daily work.
- See your requirements, prototypes, analysis, and QA turn into customer-facing improvements quickly.
- Use an established BDS and help improve it over time through practical feedback and incremental reusable workflows.
- Take meaningful ownership in a small, high-performance remote organization.
- This is a full-time remote contractor role for candidates based in Latin America, with an expected workload of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- The fixed contractor fee is $2,500 USD per month.
- Payment is made in USD through Brokerkit's international contractor payment process. Depending on country and payment method, funds may arrive in local currency.
- Paid time off and sick time are included in Brokerkit's international contractor plan.
- The working schedule should align with U.S. time zones, with Central or Mountain Time hours preferred. The exact working window will be confirmed during screening.
- This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in Latin America.
- You must have a reliable home-office setup, stable internet and phone service, and a current computer suitable for browser-based applications, data analysis, and AI-assisted product work.
