Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Shift hours and days needed, will vary based on the needs of the practice as determined by the Practice Administrator

Support staff hired at a 0.50 FTE or greater on or after April 1, 2024, are eligible for our structured retention bonus program:

Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave
After one year of employment and 1,250 hours worked, Eagle provides up to two weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave for the birth or adoption of a child. Leave is prorated based on FTE status.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse (RN) and providers to deliver high-quality patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures while meeting the unique physical, emotional, cognitive, and developmental needs of adult and geriatric patients.
- Prepare, clean, disinfect, sterilize, maintain, and troubleshoot endoscopic equipment, instruments, exam rooms, and procedure rooms in accordance with infection control standards, manufacturer guidelines, and organizational policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment by stocking exam and procedure rooms, monitoring supply inventory, maintaining appropriate par levels, assisting with supply ordering, and properly disposing of infectious waste.
- Safeguard medications, sample medications, prescription pads, needles, syringes, medical records, and other controlled or restricted materials by following established security procedures and ensuring access is limited to authorized personnel.
- Dispense sample medications only with appropriate provider authorization and maintain compliance with all medication handling policies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and legible patient documentation while protecting the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Support quality patient care by participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with accreditation, infection prevention, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Perform duties in a cost-effective manner while promoting quality, efficiency, and exceptional patient service.
- Cross-train and assist with front office operations as needed, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling support, and completing administrative paperwork.
- Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, respect, and excellent customer service in all interactions with patients, families, visitors, providers, and coworkers while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
- Attend required staff meetings, participate in committees and continuing education opportunities, maintain professional development, and support organizational initiatives.
