About the role

Our property management team is growing, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join us full-time. If you're passionate about accounting, thrive in an organized environment, and enjoy making a meaningful impact behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing financial operations for our property portfolio while helping develop and improve accounting processes that support our continued growth. What you'll do

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Record, review, and maintain General Ledger entries and adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and established financial procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Utilize Vantaca software to manage property and community association accounting functions.
  • Apply knowledge of Community Association Fund Accounting to support accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate, property management, or community association environment.
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with Vantaca property management software is highly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting software applications.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools and the ability to leverage them to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 55,000 USD per year(Homestead)
