The Estimating Coordinator role will report to the Estimating Manager

Job Summary

Estimating Coordinator will work with the Estimating Team to monitor the Request For Quotes (RFQs) setup process, monitor quote timelines including edit requests, and coordinate with Finance on contract reviews. This role requires attention to detail, organization, teamwork, and an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Monitor the designated Request For Quote (RFQ) email for new RFQs.
  • Backup for RFQ setup.
  • Enter important dates in the database from RFQs and quotes; update dates and information as appropriate.
  • Receive files from the Project Estimators, update database data, and process necessary files.
  • Notify Estimating Manager on large and/or multi-year quotes and set up required meetings.
  • Keep track of all quotes and follow up with the Estimators for progress updates.
  • Oversee the organization and archiving of department files.
  • Distribute files to appropriate personnel for job setup.
  • Monitor and track contract reviews with Finance.
  • Prepare and distribute on-time quote reports to Estimating Manager and Senior Project Estimators.
  • Prepare and distribute quotation reports to sales representatives. Receive and catalog quotation reports from sales representatives.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • College degree or 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel, and the ability to edit pdf files.
  • Proficient computer and office equipment skills including experience using copiers/scanning machines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, and a high level of accuracy is required.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

  • Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for the regular operation of a computer.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly.
  • Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing production physical hazards.
