Job Description
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the organization by coordinating processes, tracking projects, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication between departments. This role helps improve operational efficiency, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures that administrative and operational activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operational activities across departments.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
- Maintain operational records, reports, and documentation.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare performance reports.
- Assist with scheduling, logistics, and resource planning.
- Coordinate communication between operations, engineering, production, purchasing, quality, and suppliers.
- Support inventory management and material tracking.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing Lean or Six Sigma initiatives.
- Prepare meeting agendas, record meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Assist with onboarding new operational procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Support audits and maintain documentation for ISO or other quality management systems.
- Respond to customer and supplier inquiries related to operational activities.
- Monitor key performance indicators: on-time completion of operational projects; accuracy of reports and documentation; schedule adherence; process improvement implementation; customer and internal stakeholder satisfaction; reduction in operational delays or errors.

Requirements:Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, project coordination, or administrative support
- Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English
Skills:
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement principles.
- Experience with project management software.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and production scheduling.
- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001.
