In this role, you will own the development and evolution of data assets that support business performance, ensuring reliable, scalable, and accessible analytics solutions. You will collaborate across technical and business teams to translate complex needs into impactful data products.
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality data pipelines and data models within a modern data architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and clear ownership.
- Improve existing data assets, processes, and governance standards while establishing best practices for data quality and consistency.
- Develop AI-powered capabilities, including data agents, reusable workflows, and natural-language interfaces, to increase team productivity and analytical efficiency.
- Build and optimize BI semantic layers and data models so that both analysts and AI tools can reliably access meaningful information.
- Partner with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements, scope technical solutions, and deliver end-to-end data initiatives.
- Communicate technical concepts, architectural decisions, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Promote a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and responsible use of data and AI technologies.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in analytics engineering with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
- 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related fields, with hands-on experience building complex pipelines, data models, and scalable data solutions.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong production-level Python experience for automation pipelines and data workflows.
- Solid understanding of the full data lifecycle, including data modeling, transformation, architecture, and governance practices.
- Experience working with data mesh architectures or decentralized data environments is highly valued.
- Hands-on experience with semantic layers or BI modeling tools, with Looker/LookML experience considered a strong advantage.
- Practical knowledge of AI and large language models, including designing structured context, instructions, and capabilities for AI-powered tools.
- Strong autonomy, organization, and ability to manage priorities in an ambiguous, high-demand environment.
- Ability to take ownership of projects from initial problem definition through implementation and delivery.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
