Staff Product Manager, Developer Workflows

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Product Manager, Developer Workflows based in United States.

This is a high-impact product leadership role focused on shaping how developers build, integrate, and secure software across complex engineering environments. You will define and own the roadmap for developer workflows within a broader developer and AI product organization, helping set direction for tools that power secure, scalable engineering practices. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and design, with direct influence on both near-term execution and long-term platform strategy. You will work closely with engineering leaders to translate developer needs into clear product direction, ensuring seamless workflows across tools, systems, and teams. A strong focus is placed on improving developer experience, productivity, and security through thoughtful product design. This is a strategic role where your decisions will directly shape how modern development teams operate.

Accountabilities
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Developer Workflows within a broader developer and AI platform vision
  • Define priorities and coordinate execution across multiple engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Translate developer needs, pain points, and opportunities into clear, actionable product requirements
  • Lead discovery and validation efforts using customer insights, research, and data analysis
  • Write and maintain structured product artifacts (PRDs, PRFAQs, specs) to align teams and accelerate execution
  • Establish OKRs, success metrics, and measurement frameworks to track product performance and business impact
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption
  • Represent the product externally in customer and executive-level discussions
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, including ownership of developer-facing or platform products in B2B SaaS environments
  • Strong understanding of developer workflows, modern engineering ecosystems, and enterprise software environments
  • Proven experience defining roadmaps and driving execution across multiple engineering teams and complex initiatives
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience producing PRDs, PRFAQs, and structured product documentation
  • Strong customer empathy with the ability to blend qualitative insights and quantitative data for decision-making
  • Experience defining OKRs, success metrics, and product measurement frameworks tied to business outcomes
  • Comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders and representing product strategy externally
  • Experience in identity, security, or developer platform products is a strong plus
