This role sits at the center of the global go-to-market technology ecosystem, responsible for leading the engineering function that powers Salesforce and its connected systems. You will oversee a team of Salesforce developers and full-stack engineers building scalable, reliable, and high-performance GTM platforms. The position blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic system design, ensuring the architecture supporting sales, marketing, and customer operations evolves with business needs. You will play a key role in defining engineering standards, improving development practices, and driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering workflows. Working closely with GTM Operations and cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role where engineering decisions directly shape revenue operations and organizational scalability. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of platform engineering, systems architecture, and cross-functional business enablement.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a global team of Salesforce and full-stack engineers working across Apex, Lightning Web Components, Python, and Ruby on Rails
  • Define and enforce engineering best practices including Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, automated testing, and release management
  • Own the architecture and design governance of the GTM systems ecosystem, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability
  • Oversee end-to-end engineering delivery processes including sprint planning, prioritization, estimation, and stakeholder alignment
  • Design and optimize integration patterns between Salesforce and adjacent systems such as CPQ, marketing automation, and internal applications
  • Establish and monitor system performance, delivery velocity, and operational health metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and establish governance standards for responsible and effective usage across the team
  • Partner with GTM Operations and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, well-structured engineering solutions
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all GTM systems and integrations

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering or Salesforce engineering with strong hands-on development in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow
  • 2+ years of experience in people management leading engineering or technical teams
  • Strong proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python or Ruby on Rails
  • Proven experience implementing engineering best practices including CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and code review processes
  • Experience designing and maintaining complex Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware systems
  • Demonstrated experience running agile development workflows using tools such as Jira for sprint planning and delivery management
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and a clear perspective on scaling their adoption across engineering teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with executives and cross-functional business leaders
  • Ability to make architectural decisions balancing native Salesforce capabilities with external service development

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with equity grants
  • Flexible vacation policy to support work-life balance
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Paid parental leave and retirement savings plan
  • Remote-friendly and flexible working arrangements
  • Annual wellness and learning and development budgets
  • Home internet and phone stipends
  • Opportunity to contribute to a high-growth company preparing for IPO
  • Inclusive, diverse, and collaborative global work environment
