Event Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Event Coordinator based in United States.

This remote opportunity is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented professional who enjoys creating impactful learning experiences and managing complex events. The role supports large-scale healthcare program initiatives by coordinating virtual and in-person training activities. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including government partners, subject matter experts, and external organizations. The position combines event planning, communication, technology coordination, and administrative execution. Accountabilities:

The Event Coordinator will manage the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of professional training events, ensuring smooth delivery across virtual and in-person formats. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Plan, coordinate, and support all aspects of virtual and live training events, including scheduling, logistics, materials preparation, and event execution.
  • Collaborate with state agencies, subject matter experts, consultants, and internal teams to deliver effective educational programs.
  • Coordinate conference and special event activities, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and objectives.
  • Manage event documentation, including participant materials, certificates, name badges, status reports, and planning documents.
  • Utilize platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex to support online events and enhance participant engagement.
  • Assist with instructional design and learning methodology approaches to create meaningful training experiences.
  • Monitor event progress, communicate updates, and resolve logistical challenges throughout the planning and delivery process.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings experience in event coordination, project support, and professional communications, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, technical confidence, and stakeholder collaboration abilities are essential for success.

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Experience coordinating both virtual and in-person events, ranging from small meetings to large-scale programs with hundreds or thousands of participants.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Teams, Zoom, and Webex.
  • Understanding of audio/visual technology requirements and virtual event setup processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and support multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
