Job Description
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service while assisting with routine banking transactions, account servicing, and digital banking support. You will help customers navigate banking products and services while building relationships that support their financial needs. The ideal candidate is friendly, adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Customer Service
• Deliver prompt, professional, and friendly service to customers.
• Process routine customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Open and maintain consumer deposit accounts.
• Identify customer needs and make appropriate product and service recommendations.
• Assist customers with account inquiries and service requests.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Digital Banking Support
• Assist customers with enrollment and basic use of digital banking services.
• Support online banking, mobile banking, debit cards, and voice banking services.
• Provide basic troubleshooting assistance for digital banking products.
• Educate customers on digital banking features and security best practices.
Operational Responsibilities
• Complete customer maintenance requests and account updates.
• Process back-office functions (such as unposted and NSF reports and research).
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain operational and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in branch audits and reviews as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Universal Banker I
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn banking products, systems, and procedures.
