InspireKids Behavioral Health is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to lead our outreach and referral growth throughout the Cleveland area. This role is responsible for building strategic partnerships, expanding referral networks, and increasing access to our behavioral health services for children and families.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for growing InspireKids presence throughout the community by developing strong relationships with referral sources, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations. You will serve as an ambassador for our mission while helping more children and families access the behavioral health services they need.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase referrals and program growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, pediatricians, hospitals, behavioral health providers, social service agencies, and community organizations.
- Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and educational events to promote InspireKids services.
- Identify new partnership opportunities throughout Northeast Ohio.
- Track referral activity and maintain an organized pipeline using CRM systems.
- Collaborate with the admissions and clinical teams to ensure a seamless referral and intake process.
- Represent InspireKids at networking events, conferences, school functions, and community outreach events.
- Monitor market trends and identify expansion opportunities.
- Help develop marketing initiatives, outreach campaigns, and community engagement strategies.
- Work closely with leadership to establish and achieve referral and growth goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing referral partners through consistent communication and follow-up.
- Serve as a champion for InspireKids' mission of improving the lives of children and families through compassionate behavioral healthcare.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in business development, healthcare marketing, provider relations, or community outreach.
- Experience building referral networks within healthcare, behavioral health, education, or social services preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with community partners and referral sources.
- Strong presentation, networking, and public speaking skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite; healthcare EMR/CRM experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of behavioral health services, Medicaid, and the healthcare referral process preferred.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a passion for expanding access to care for children and families.
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation; local travel throughout Northeast Ohio is required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
