As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and improve software solutions that support scalable fintech products while contributing to engineering excellence. You will help define technical approaches, strengthen development practices, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure and impactful solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and internal tools using technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and related modern frameworks.
- Develop scalable product features and shared technical foundations that improve reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions across application development, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and developer productivity.
- Improve engineering operations through enhanced CI/CD workflows, deployment automation, observability, and production support practices.
- Work with cloud-based environments, including infrastructure services, security tools, monitoring solutions, and networking components.
- Adopt and promote AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development speed, code quality, documentation, and collaboration.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, release planning, and production troubleshooting.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to raising the overall technical maturity of the team.
- Support secure and compliant software delivery practices aligned with financial services standards.
- Apply a strong understanding of risk management, data protection, and customer trust when making technical decisions.
The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong backend development expertise, cloud knowledge, and a passion for building reliable fintech solutions. You should be comfortable working independently, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving technical improvements in a high-growth environment.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including experience with production systems.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, or comparable technologies.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, API design, distributed systems, and scalable software development.
- Experience with DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and production operations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure services such as Azure or similar environments.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, CodeRabbit, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design secure, maintainable, and efficient solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage priorities, adapt to changing environments, and take ownership of complex engineering challenges.
- Interest in fintech, banking technology, compliance, security, and regulated software environments is highly valued.
