Like New Car Care, part of the Steve Marshall Group, is growing our graphics and vehicle customization division in beautiful Campbell River, BC. We’re looking for a Graphics Production & Installation Technician to help bring our projects to life—from preparing materials and operating production equipment to installing graphics with a clean, professional finish.

The Opportunity

This role combines production room work with hands-on installation. You’ll work on vehicle decals and wraps, window graphics, signage, and custom vinyl applications, helping move each project from work order to finished product.

We’re looking for someone with relevant experience who can work independently, keep jobs organized, and contribute to a team that values quality, reliability, and craftsmanship.

What You’ll Do

Bring projects to life in the production room

• Operate printers, plotters, laminators, and related production equipment.
• Review work orders and prepare files, materials, and prints for production.
• Cut, weed, laminate, mask, and organize vinyl graphics for installation.
• Check colours, sizing, and output quality against job specifications.
• Monitor inventory and material usage, and flag upcoming supply needs.

Deliver installations you’re proud to put your name on

• Prepare vehicles, windows, and other surfaces for application.
• Install vinyl graphics, decals, vehicle wraps, and signage.
• Measure and align graphics accurately for a clean, consistent finish.
• Work carefully around contours, edges, and other installation challenges.
• Inspect completed projects and address any finishing issues before delivery.

Keep the work flowing

• Organize jobs and materials to meet production and installation timelines.
• Communicate with the GM and Like New team about priorities, progress, and challenges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Care for tools and equipment and complete routine maintenance.
• Identify practical ways to improve quality, reduce waste, and keep projects moving.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience in graphics production, vinyl installation, vehicle wraps, or signage.
• Familiarity with production equipment such as wide-format printers, vinyl cutters, plotters, and laminators.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate measuring skills, and pride in your workmanship.
• The ability to follow work orders, solve problems, and manage your workload.
• A dependable, self-motivated approach and a willingness to help the team.
• A valid driver’s licence.

Additional Assets

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator or other graphics and production software.
• Knowledge of different vinyl products and application techniques.
• Experience completing full or partial vehicle wraps.
• Previous work in a busy production shop or automotive environment.
