RL Industries is looking for a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical to maintaining production equipment, facility systems, and material-handling equipment while minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and respond quickly to breakdowns.
  • Install and replace motors, bearings, belts, pumps, valves, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, hoses, and other components.
  • Test and adjust control systems to verify proper equipment operation.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and spare-parts inventory.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.
  • Perform general facility maintenance including lighting, plumbing, painting, storage rack repairs, and building upkeep.
  • Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout requirements and safe work practices.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facility environment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read schematics, equipment manuals, work orders, and technical drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety practices and the ability to recognize when work must be performed by qualified personnel.
  • Ability to prioritize work, solve problems independently, and work effectively with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industrial maintenance training, certification, or related technical education.
  • Experience with CNC machinery, waterjet systems, PLC controls, cranes, compressors, forklifts, HVAC equipment, and dust collection systems.
  • Forklift and aerial lift experience.

6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, plus alternating half-day Saturdays
