Vice President, Data Center Services and Commissioning


Position Type: Full-time, Exempt, Salary

Reports to: President of Data Centers

Supervisory Responsibility: Field Services Managers

Location: Jacksonville, FL Corporate Headquarters

Summary Objective

The Vice President, Data Center Services & Commissioning will lead the strategy, commercial execution, operational performance, and P&L management for the North America Data Center Services business. This executive will oversee startup and commissioning, warranty, maintenance, upgrades, and aftermarket support while driving scalable and profitable growth.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and execute the North America Data Center Services growth strategy
  • Own P&L performance including revenue, profitability, forecasting, and operational planning
  • Drive profitable growth in commissioning, warranty, maintenance, and retrofit services
  • Partner with Business Development and Marketing to expand aftermarket revenue opportunities
  • Develop operational rigor around invoicing, cash flow, vendor management, and subcontractor oversight
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the global data center services organization
  • Support proposal development with commissioning, startup, and service budget input.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities for commissioning, service, and operational teams.

Work Location

This position will work from a Stellar Energy office location and may require periodic travel to customer sites and project locations.

Work Environment
Most work is performed in an office and project site environment. Regular travel to customer facilities, commissioning sites, and fabrication shops may be required.


Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, communicate, and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility based on business and project demands.

Travel
Anticipated up to 25% travel for this position. Some occasional local day travel may also be necessary. Occasional travel to customer job sites and conferences may be required.

Required Education and Experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
  • Significant leadership experience in mission critical services, commissioning, or data center operations
  • Proven success leading P&L responsibility and service operations

Preferred Education and Experience

  • MBA or advanced technical degree
  • Experience leading global service organizations

Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Range
