Federal Privacy Consultant in Washington DC, District of Columbia at Chevo LLC

Chevo is hiring an experienced Federal Privacy Consultant to join our expanding firm in the Washington, DC area. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business and becoming a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to DHS Privacy engagements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execution and coordination of tasks related to Privacy and Compliance Support, Privacy Complaint Resolution and Amendment Support, Privacy Incident Management Support, and Privacy and Information Compliance Strategic Planning and Programmatic Support.

Required Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. or equivalent work experience required.
• At least three (3) years of privacy analysis in the governmental or non-governmental sector, including experience in preparing privacy compliance documents and supporting federal privacy programs.
• Experience in evaluating and developing complex administrative projects and programs that may contain sensitive or politically important information.
• Demonstrated experience in writing and/or briefing information; conducting interviews; and complex analyses.
• Ability to secure, possess, and maintain security credentials as required to obtain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD).

SALARY RANGE: $100K - $120K (subject to change)
