Accountabilities:
  • Lead and define the organization’s quality assurance and test automation strategy across the software development lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and testing tools for high-performance web applications and services.
  • Guide and mentor a team of automation engineers while promoting best practices in software quality and testing methodologies.
  • Execute and oversee functional, regression, integration, and web services automation testing activities.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Validate project test strategies, test plans, and automation scripts while ensuring compliance with QA standards and internal processes.
  • Define, monitor, and report on QA metrics and KPIs to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate, analyze, and help resolve application issues and failures throughout development and testing phases.
  • Provide technical and architectural leadership for automation testing frameworks, tools, and processes.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in test automation engineering or software quality assurance roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, JUnit, and TestNG.
  • Experience developing functional and non-functional automation scripts using TypeScript and Java.
  • Proven ability to lead QA initiatives and deliver quality products in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation architecture, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience leading or mentoring automation engineering teams.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams.
  • Ability to balance strategic quality planning with hands-on technical execution.
