Location: Galleria Dallas

Schedule: OvernightThursday-Monday 10pm-6:30am

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parking Garage Painter to perform painting, coating, and surface preparation tasks in our parking facilities. This role involves applying paint and other protective coatings to structural surfaces, curbs, lines, signs, and safety markings to maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of the garage.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, or power-washing as needed.
  • Apply primer, paint, or sealants to walls, ceilings, floors, curbs, and other parking structure surfaces.
  • Paint and refresh directional signs, traffic arrows, stall lines, handicap spaces, and safety markings.
  • Mix and match paints or coatings to achieve desired colors and finishes.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as sprayers, rollers, brushes, and ladders safely.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of chemicals.
  • Identify and report any structural or maintenance issues encountered during painting tasks.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly store materials.
  • Coordinate with maintenance or facility teams to schedule painting work with minimal disruption.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Proven experience in commercial or industrial painting; experience with concrete and epoxy coatings is a plus.
  • Knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and material safety.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints or instructions for layout and markings.

Physical Demands:

  • Physically able to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in enclosed or semi-open environments, sometimes during off-hours or in varying weather.
  • Valid drivers license may be required depending on site location.
