This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Platform Management - Director based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the strategy and evolution of enterprise software platforms that help organizations make smarter, data-driven decisions.
The successful candidate will combine product leadership, market expertise, and customer insights to drive platform innovation and business impact.
You will oversee the full product lifecycle, from strategic planning and roadmap development through delivery and continuous improvement.
The position requires close collaboration with engineering, product, sales, support, and professional services teams in a highly dynamic technology environment.
You will influence product direction by understanding client needs, emerging market trends, and strategic business priorities.

Accountabilities:

The Platform Management Director will be responsible for defining product strategy, managing platform evolution, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions that meet customer and business needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand market needs, gather requirements, and define future product enhancements.
  • Own the product lifecycle from strategic vision and planning through development, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
  • Develop and maintain an 18-month rolling product roadmap aligned with customer priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Prioritize product development activities and collaborate with teams on sprint planning, quarterly planning, and execution priorities.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, quality assurance, security, architecture, product support, and product management teams.
  • Enable professional services and support organizations with the tools, knowledge, and processes needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Support sales initiatives, including strategic opportunities, enterprise deals, and partnership engagements.
  • Translate business objectives and customer feedback into actionable product strategies and delivery plans.
  • Balance long-term platform strategy with tactical execution to ensure continuous product improvement and market relevance.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and customer insights to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive differentiation.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with a strong background in enterprise software, platform management, and strategic execution. Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a technical, business, or financial discipline.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software product management with demonstrated expertise in product strategy and lifecycle management.
  • Proven success managing products through all stages of development, from concept to production deployment.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery processes, including high-volume, high-throughput, streaming, and batch environments.
  • Domain experience in financial services, including areas such as customer management, lending, marketing, service platforms, or business event notification.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing detailed product plans and managing competing priorities.
  • Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams and diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with product management tools such as Jira and Aha is preferred.
  • Ability to lead complex initiatives, solve business challenges, and drive alignment across technical and business teams.
