In 2012, Eagle Distributing of Nebraska had the vision to diversify into the wine and spirits industry and acquired Quench Fine Wines from the Hensley group (Arizona). Our mission is to raise the level and quality of wine buying in Nebraska over the coming years while providing exciting careers for people who love wine.

From classic and complex to exciting and whimsical, we bring you the best fine wine from a large variety of vineyards. Our portfolio has a robust selection of wines from California, Oregon, Washington as well as from around the world.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Pickers are paid by pick rate with the ability to make up to $24.00 per hour, while training pickers will make $19.00 per hour. Monday-Friday 7am start time, temperature-controlled warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assembling orders using picking technology.
  • Move packagedproductby hand from racks, shelves, bins, or floor onto pick pallet.
  • Sort and place the packaged product on racks, shelves, or bins according to predeterminedsequencesuch as size, type, style, or product code.
  • Operate shrink wrap machine to secure order and prevent it from falling in transit.
  • Mark orders with identifying information using “born on date” identification tags.
  • Rotate stock,consolidatepallets, and warehouse inventory.
  • Assistin counting physical inventory.
  • Safelyoperatewarehouse equipment, including powered hand trucks, sit down fork trucks, and pallet riders.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading side and end-load trailers with palletized freightoperatinga sit-down fork truck.
  • Organize andmaintaina clean and safe warehouse,including;sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, sanitation, and otherduties asassigned.
  • Facilities maintenance as assigned.
  • Follow all safety policies, including keeping the warehouse picked up and accessible for all coworkers and customers.
  • Receive inbound freight into inventory using scanner and software.
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • ValidDriversLicense.
  • Ability to work flexiblehours thatmay includesome nightsand weekend shifts.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision.
