Summary

Integration Health is seeking experienced ECMO clinicians to join our ad-hoc trainer pool and support high-impact education, simulation, and debriefing engagements at client sites. This role is ideal for ECMO experts who enjoy teaching, facilitating team-based learning, and sharing best practices in a flexible, project-based format.

Role Overview

As an ECMO Clinical Trainer, you will co-lead advanced ECLS/ECMO education and simulation programs for healthcare organizations. Youll work alongside Integration Health team members to deliver evidence-based training, support multidisciplinary teams, and help clients strengthen ECMO program performance, patient safety, and clinical outcomes. The role includes approximately 48 multi-day assignments per year , including some out-of-state travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-lead high-fidelity ECMO simulation and training engagements at client sites.
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based education grounded in adult learning principles and aligned with ELSO guidelines.
  • Facilitate structured debriefings that promote clinical insight, team performance, and systems improvement.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to assess needs and adapt training to local goals and workflows.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in ECMO operations, bedside management, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of Integration Health training offerings.
  • Represent Integration Health with professionalism, clinical credibility, and a strong client-service mindset.

Required Qualifications

  • Clinical background in critical care, such as RN, RT, APP, Perfusionist, or equivalent.
  • Significant hands-on ECMO experience, ideally 2+ years .
  • Experience in clinical education, simulation-based training, or adult learning.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and debriefing skills.
  • Ability to co-lead training engagements in diverse healthcare environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in fast-paced, client-facing settings.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 48 times per year for multi-day assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ECMO Specialist certification.
  • Experience delivering ECMO education or supporting ECMO program development.
  • Familiarity with ELSO guidelines and core curriculum.
  • Experience in simulation facilitation and structured debriefing methodologies.
  • Formal training in adult learning, education, or master trainer programs.

Compensation and Travel

Integration Health offers a daily rate commensurate with experience . Approved travel-related costs are handled in accordance with company policy, and travel time/expenses are supported as part of the role.

Employees may elect to participate in the employer's Guideline 401(k) retirement plan. Participants may make pre-tax or Roth contributions to a retirement account. Integration Health matches contributions at 100% of the first 1% of the employee's deferrals and 50% of deferrals between 1% and 6% of the employees salary.
