Job Description
Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School (LLACS) is seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to support the academic, behavioral, emotional, and social success of our students. The School Psychologist serves as an integral member of the Student Support Team by providing comprehensive psychological services, conducting evaluations, consulting with educators and families, and helping develop interventions that promote positive student outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities
Assessment and Evaluation
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services in accordance with IDEA, Chapter 14, and Pennsylvania Department of Education regulations.
Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, adaptive, and social-emotional assessments.
Prepare comprehensive psychological evaluation reports and present findings to multidisciplinary teams and families.
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and assist in developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) when appropriate.
Student Support Services
Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers regarding students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
Participate as an active member of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Student Assistance Program (SAP) teams.
Provide recommendations for instructional strategies, accommodations, behavioral supports, and interventions.
Assist in monitoring student progress and evaluating intervention effectiveness.
Special Education Services
Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations, reevaluations, eligibility determinations, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Support Section 504 evaluations and accommodations as assigned.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education regulations and timelines.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, reports, and student records.
Consultation and Collaboration
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote a positive school climate and student success.
Provide consultation regarding classroom management, behavior supports, trauma-informed practices, and social-emotional learning.
Partner with families to support student achievement and encourage meaningful parent engagement.
Provide professional learning opportunities for staff related to mental health, behavior, and learning differences.
Crisis Prevention and Intervention
Participate in school crisis prevention, intervention, threat assessment, and post-crisis response activities.
Provide short-term crisis support and referrals to community agencies and outside providers when appropriate.
Assist in developing and implementing school-wide initiatives that promote student wellness and positive mental health.
Qualifications
Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Valid Pennsylvania Educational Specialist Certificate – School Psychologist (PK-12).
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, Chapter 14, MTSS, and special education procedures.
Experience administering standardized psychological and educational assessments.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in an urban, charter, or culturally diverse educational setting preferred.
Must obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania background clearances.
Physical Requirements
Ability to move throughout the school building and classrooms.
Ability to sit for extended periods while completing evaluations and documentation.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
