Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is looking for a Technologist for our plant in Konya, Türkiye.

The Technologist reports to the Technical Manager and is responsible for guaranteeing production continuity and product conformity by ensuring process stability in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment regulations, and in line with company standards and procedures.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities on machines, moulds, and equipment in line with maintenance plans
• Carry out routine inspections on machines, utilities, and ancillary equipment, including parameter and meter checks
• Detect faulty or worn-out parts and manage the necessary replacement, repair, and technical support processes
• Supports electromechanical installation and commissioning processes of machines and equipment.
• Actively contributes to troubleshooting and solution development activities related to production, process, and technical issues in order to improve equipment performance and production continuity.
• Performs full mould change and machine set-up operations in line with production plans.
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to resolve technical issues affecting product quality
• Track spare part inventory and maintain maintenance intervention records regularly
• Work in compliance with health, safety, environmental, and workplace organization standards

Technical Skills

• Excellent applied knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and/or electronic systems
• Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM)
• Good applied knowledge of WCM standards
• Basic knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment rules and practices
• Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts
